gratuitous Lydia pic

I have more prize photos to add including some of things I haven't told you about, yet (a hint: hand dyed cashmere). Good, good stuff. Dental drama with Ben that has had me on the edge has delayed getting them off the camera and up here, but watch this spot and they should appear later today.

If you click on the "prizes" tag at the bottom of this post, you can see all of the prize posts together.

Gretchen - Have you or any of your readers ever been to the Maryland Sheep and Wool? If so, any advice? I want to go, because everyone in blogland says that it is so fantastic, but I admit I am intimidated. Should I go with a project in mind or just go in blind?
By the way, now we can't get away from each other! :-)

MD Sheep and Wool! Just the name gives me good goosebumps. I have a post about that rolling around in my head that I've been meaning to type up...in the meantime,

YOU.
HAVE.
TO.
GO.

Whether you go with a project in mind or not depends on how you like to buy yarn and (for me, anyway) budget.

I'm taking a drop spindle class there Sunday morning but will probably do my wandering and drooling Saturday afternoon because of that Sunday afternoon thing. Are you going to that?

Oh, and I just found out that your boys play in the same baseball league as Abie and Ben. Heh.

I am hoping to go, intimidated or not. I have heard too many good things about it.
I will have to plan my budget before going. I have spent some time online finding patterns I think I can do and I hope to then find some yarn to make them at the festival. I thought that might be a good plan and will keep me on budget!
Now you have me even more psyched about going.
I cannot believe how similar our kids activities are. Pretty soon I will have to call you for car pooling. :-)
Yes, we are signed up for that thing but now mine are saying that they think no one else is going. I thought it was a nice thing and encouraged them to go.

I'm putting X amount of money in a separate bank account just for yarn purchase. Once it's gone, I'm done. It'll help me stay a little more focused and not just buy impulsively. Of course, I'll have a little emergency fund tucked away, too. :) *shhhh! Don't tell the hubby or he won't let me come. :)
