Katja, started and finished
I started this Friday night, finished the knitting yesterday and took care of the yarn ends today. I love it. I got the yarn for a song on de-stash from someone who had it left over from their own katja and I think I just might have enough to make one in the 3 month size for my niece, due in April.
And, did I mention Jake got into college choice #1?

Lydia just gets cuter with each photo,
the knitting is also gorgeous.
Keeping my fingers crossed that everything works out with the dollars for Jake and College.
Is he excited or like most teenage boys, just being cool and calm, while mom and dad are excited?

Hi, that looks lovely on her I have thought about knitting that one for Darcey. I love the colour as well I am a real pink lover. Congrats to Jake it is lovely he has done well.
Very, very pretty. I have learned that Knitty.com is a great place for patterns.
Do you know if there is a knitting group around this area? I did hear of one at the local library but it meets during the day and I work part-time.
I was hoping there might be one that I might occasionally make it to (kids keep me busy every night with their activities) and pick up some new ideas and also have somebody to compare notes with.
I wonder if your blog readers like knitting groups and if they belong to one in their area. It seems like a good idea to me but there may be a downside. I don't know.
Very cute!!! and Congratulations!!
YAY JAKE! That is quite the reason to celebrate!
And omg, that turned out sooo cute!!!!! I'm definitely inspired! What size did you make?
That is so cute! The color looks smashing on Lydia.
That's so great that Jake got into his #1 choice! I have my fingers crossed that the funding comes through.
I loved knitting Katja for my sister's baby girl. Even with my novice skills I finished it in just a few days of part-time knitting and it was just as cute as can be. The only thing that I hated was the seemingly endless I-cord, but that's just my own personal hangup. I hate I-cord! :)
Lydia is adorable in hers, and I love the color, too!
Hooray for Jake on college #1!!!
Delurking to say hi! I mentioned you on my blog this morning. I knew when I saw your blog and saw that you had 7 kids, lordy be! I had to read you every day!! Thanks for giving me a good chuckle. Knit on!
