C'mon! Leave a comment!

It's National De-lurking Week. My stat counter tells me that someone out there is reading my drivel brilliant, well-thought out posts, so c'mon. Help my self-esteem. Leave a comment!

OK, you got me. :-0
I bookmarked your site when I found you the other day while perusing blogs for patterns. I am a brand-new knitter and I learned that blogs are a great way to learn lots of new things as well as find patterns that I can do. I also happen to live in Maryland.
Thank you for your site. I too have more than 2.5 children, although not as many as you do, and I enjoy hearing how others cope with the management of a bigger-than-average brood. I have never left a comment before so I am not quitre sure how this works but I will try posting this reply anyway. :-)

Hello, I have been reading your blog for awhile now, so apparently I enjoy it! 32, Kansas, DH of 5yrs, no kids, started knitting about 1 1/2 ago, still learning. And Lydia is just the cutest.

I usually can't comment on blogs that have switched over to the Google version... it's so hit or miss (mostly miss) that I rarely try... so, is it going to let me today? We shall see!

Hi! I'm pretty quiet commenter most of the time, but I'm out here, honest. :)

Thank you for the comments! (They love me, they really love me!)

Kate--you are far better about leaving comments than I am! I am usually rushing while reading blogs and intend to go back and comment (you should see all the "saved" posts that are on my bloglines list), but somehow never get around to it.

Anonymous Marylander--thanks for commenting! I had noticed a new Maryland hit on my stat counter lately and was trying to figure out if it was a relative.

Nicki- bwahahaha! I was just bragging about your beautiful Addy at my dentist's office today.

Faren--so *you're* my Kansas reader! Even my husband knows about you (well, that I have a Kansas reader)..."Seriously, honey, who do we know in Kansas?"

littleangelkisses- I left a comment on your blog earlier--your story about your pregnancy and delivery of Boo had me holding my breath (and almost made me late for my dental appointment. I couldn't stop reading until I got to the happy ending). Your little guy is adorable in the Santa pic. All of my best wishes on another baby. I'm wishing a long, uneventful pregnancy for you.

Erin--yeah. Hate new blogger. Hate it.

canknitian--HEY! I read your blog! Now I feel famous...like a celebrity is reading mine. I can't remember how I first found yours, though.

knitting mummy--I'm off to check out your blog. I love reading about other big families, too.

Hello! I am your swap partner for the potholder/recipe swap and I've been lurking to discover colors or styles that you might like. I have a set with green and set with yellow already started. Now that you've caught me lurking, I might as well ask outright if either of those sounds good, or if I should get another color? ;)

I am kind of amazed that the stat counter even tells you where someone is from. I actually figured out that I live really close to you. Funny how you are out there in cyberspace but yet so close....we may have even bumped into each other before and never even knew. The world is so big and yet so small.
What is your favorite yarn shop in this area? I am new to knitting (just a few months) and new to Maryland (just about two years now).

JayJay--whee! I can't choose. You decide. I am feeling green *and* yellow right now (c'mon spring--this winter has been boring!). Either will be perfect, I'm sure.

Marylander--Knittin' Chicks is right up the road and Dahlia (owner) is as nice as can be. I'm afraid I'm spoiled by the endless selection online, though, and order most. I've heard good things about Eleganza in Frederick but haven't been. Wool Winders in Gaithersburg has a nice wide selection but is not easy for me to get to (and with little ones it can be painful to try and choose quickly). I've never lived anywhere but Maryland.

Kris- Hi back atcha! Each time I see more snow on the news out your way I think about you.
