floored!

I am the lucky recipient of an amazing fiber raok from Jackie (knitdaisyknit). She sent me a 2007 Pattern-a-Day calendar and a dozen (12! Count 'em--12!) skeins of Peruvian Baby Cashmere in the prettiest shade of pink. Y'all know I have had my eye on a Garnstudio dress set for Lydia for quite a while and I think this yarn is going to be perfect. Jackie, thank you again! I am overwhelmed by your generosity and this package has really brightened my day (week--month)!

And, look! A yarn addict is born:

Lydia is going to have expensive taste in yarn and she is going to be a fabulous knitter, just like her mom.

Oh c'mon...it's not the yarn she loves! Every sensible woman loves cashmere! Sheesh. If she lived out here we could fondle the cashmere at Barney's together ;)

Thanks, guys! I like the card idea. Maybe a series shot, three across, two deep. Hmmm....

And, Laura, it's the yarn, the yarn, the yarn! (and the cashmere in the yarn)

Why is it that kids always love the most expensive yarns. Sigh. Great pictures. I found you through RAOK. Quite a cool gift. I can hardly wait to see what you make with it. Enjoy!
