We got a letter in the mail today from Hope's school. She flunked the vision screening that they give all 8th graders. When I told her this afternoon she was upset at first but then quickly came around.

Well, I hate glasses, so if I need them I want to get contacts and I want my eyes to be purple. Is that ok?

I told her it was and she skipped off. I think she knows I was kidding. Hopefully she was, too.
