vacation, anyone?

Do you know of a wonderful lake somewhere in PA/MD/WV/VA/NC where you can rent a house for less than an arm & a leg? I don't want to have to hike or drive with seven kids (and all their stuff) to swim. I want to roll out of the house and down to the lake where my kids (and their dad and I) can splash and swim to their hearts' content. Deep Creek Lake, where I went as a child, has gotten way too expensive. If you know where this perfect lake is, please share!
